Creflo Dollar: Mending Fences With Love

Mending Fences With Love - Creflo Dollar - Creflo Dollar Ministriesby: Creflo Dollar

Have you ever been in a discussion with a co–worker and found yourself in disagreement or opposition to their opinions? Moments like these expand your mind and help you grow, or they test your love walk. Disagreements are inevitable; you’re never going to agree with others all the time. The important thing is to refrain from being reckless with your words, or acting contrary to the love of God and His Word.

The first and great commandment of the Lord, Jesus Christ is the commandment to love. “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbor as thyself”

(Luke 10:27). When you are in a disagreement with someone, there is a strong temptation to get angry and allow strife to enter the relationship. Don’t let it happen. If you find yourself getting offended, step away before you end up burning a bridge with that person.

Learning to walk in love helps you grow. However, when the flesh rears its ugly head, it’s easy to forget about love. Our challenge is to avoid acting in ways that don’t reflect God’s character. What does it mean to walk in the flesh? Simply put, it is walking in opposition to the Word. Galatians 5:17 (New International Version) declares, “For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want.”

The flesh, that old, carnal mindset, wants to get your adrenaline pumping and your emotions out of control. During times of disagreement, it says, “I’m right, and I need you to acknowledge that fact” or “I don’t want to forget about our argument until you apologize.” You overcome the flesh by aligning your thinking, actions and words with the Word of God.

It’s okay to disagree; sometimes situations in life require having in–depth discussions. However, the Bible says, “It is an honor for a man to cease from strife and keep aloof from it, but every fool will quarrel” (Proverbs 20:3, The Amplified Bible). Don’t allow disagreements to turn into emotional conflicts or opportunities for strife. Declare victory for yourself in this area by not allowing your emotions to steer you away from what the Word commands.

Emotions like anger and unforgiveness are not of God. By no means does He want you so consumed with your feelings that you miss the chance to release Him into the life of another person. Giving in to your emotions demonstrates that your focus is on self rather than others. Instead, your primary concern should be another’s welfare, and being a good witness for God. Resolving conflict the right way is your opportunity to spread His love!

Words have power. The Bible declares life and death are in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21). When you speak words that reveal the love of God, you make a way for God’s presence to overshadow the works of the enemy in any situation. However, operating in the flesh will cause you to be unwise with your words; you will end up saying something that causes you to offend your brother or sister. Before you allow that to happen, take a “time out” to consult the Holy Spirit for wisdom on what to say. He will always show you how to respond the right way.

Use the love of God to mend fences when you and another person are in strife. When using love as a means to repair relationships, you will have to fight your flesh. Remember, your flesh wants its own way. Put your feelings aside, and don’t allow the enemy to create confusion and destroy your fellowship with the other person. How you handle disagreements makes the difference between you and the person who doesn’t know God, and will serve as a testimony to others. Be a Christian who makes a difference in your relationships by taking the love route every time.

Creflo Dollar: Have You Died?

Have You Died? - Creflo Dollar - Creflo Dollar Ministriesby: Creflo Dollar

Do you know what death is? Essentially, it is separation. When a person dies, his or her spirit is separated from his or her physical body. Spiritual death is separation from God. Even in the life of a Christian, there is a death that must take place; but it is not a physical or spiritual death. The death I am talking about is the death of “self.” Dying to self means to put aside your fleshly desires; your plans, purposes and pursuits that don’t line up with God’s will, so that His life and will can be expressed through you. Many people wear the title of “Christian,” but are still holding on to their plans, their ways of doing things and their selfish desires. This only hinders the power and plan of God from manifesting in your life. To experience God’s very best, you must embrace His Word and His way. Dying to self is how you do it.

When you become a Christian, God’s will for your life must become your ultimate pursuit. He has a plan and purpose for you and wants to reveal it to you. However, you must be willing to die first. Are you busy trying to fulfill your will for your life instead of seeking and aiming to fulfill the will of God? Have you laid down your life and your will because you love God more than you love yourself?

When you live only to please yourself, you are not really living. The abundant life God has predestined for you is hidden in His will; and you will not be able to find it until you have released the control of your life to your heavenly Father.

Many times, people are afraid of completely giving themselves to the Lord because they mistakenly believe what God wants them to do won’t be fulfilling or produce the kind of results they envision for themselves. Nothing is farther from the truth! When you pursue the will of God and submit to what He wants you to do, the results will far surpass anything you could imagine for your life. Not only will He put His desires for your life in your heart, He will fulfill them (Psalm 37:4)!

Luke 17:33 in The Message Bible says, “If you grasp and cling to life on your terms, you’ll lose it, but if you let that life go, you’ll get life on God’s terms.” When you lay down, or die to, your will, you position yourself to receive a better life; one of abundance in every area. But when you insist on doing your own thing, you can only go so far.

Trusting God and believing the love He has for you is essential to your being able to die to self. When you don’t really know God loves you and has your best interests at heart, it will be difficult for you to really trust that His plan for your life is better for you than your own. So many times, we believe we know exactly what we want; but God has more for us than we could ever imagine. Ephesians 2:10 in The Amplified Bible says He has a good life prearranged and made ready for us-but we must believe this truth.

I look at laying down your life as planting a seed in the ground. The only way for a seed to produce a harvest is for it to be planted. Once in the ground, before it springs up into a plant, it must die and produce roots that go deep in the ground. After this process begins to take place, the plant grows upward and produces fruit and more seeds. The first thing that had to happen, however, was the planting and death of the seed.

The same is true where your personal will is concerned. You must plant your will as a seed, allow it to die and then the life of God will cause the seed you’ve sown to come up and produce a greater harvest.

Jesus laid down His will for the will of the Father. Before His crucifixion, He was tormented in the garden of Gethsemane. He struggled with wanting to do His will (not going to the cross) versus doing the will of God. Instead of giving in to selfishness, He prayed, trusted God and kept going forward. He was determined to do the will of the Father, rather than follow His emotions (Mark 14:32-36).

Our prayer should be that the will of God is done in our lives. You may be battling with choosing between the dreams, goals and desires you’ve always had for your life and what you know God is calling you to do. Trust God, knowing that everything He has planned for your life is good, and will bring you lasting success and happiness. As much as you may want a particular thing for your life, God wants to give you more. That’s the kind of Father He is.

Creflo Dollar: God’s Purpose for Your Emotions

God's Purpose for Your Emotions - Creflo Dollar - Creflo Dollar Ministriesby: Creflo Dollar

Today more than ever, many Christians are depressed, hurt, angry, and generally frustrated. They’re having a hard time believing the Word, and an even harder time figuring out why they struggle with so many negative emotions. Many think how they feel is a result of childhood pain or family history. While that may be a small part of the issue, I’d venture to say that almost 95 percent of the negative emotions people face daily, are the result of negative words that oppose the Word of God.

Every day you have to make a decision as to whose words you will give attention to—God’s Word or the enemy’s word. When you give attention to the enemy’s word, you become susceptible to negative thinking which leads to negative emotions that oppose the Word of God. But notice it all starts with words!

Emotions are “feelings on the inside caused by pain or pleasure that are trying to move you in a certain direction.”  Think of emotions as the steering wheel of your life; they determine the direction you go in. When you have negative emotions, they will lead you in a negative direction; when you have positive emotions that are in line with the Word of God, those emotions will lead you in the direction God desires.

Negative emotions will cause you to fall (Genesis 3). However, positive emotions will cause you to prosper. For a long time, Christians have thought emotions were bad; however, emotions can be good or bad, depending on how you use them. I like to use fire as an example for emotions. Fire, when used properly, can be a blessing. It can heat a home, cook food, and even be used as a purifier. However, if used improperly, fire can burn a home to the ground. It’s the same way with our emotions—how we use them determines whether they’re good or bad.

I’ve always said that getting a proper understanding is the most important part of building a successful life. So when discussing emotions, it’s best to gain an understanding of God’s original intent and purpose for them. That understanding will then help you put your emotions in the perspective God intended.

Emotions are a gift from God. In fact, they are a vital part of our worship, and the way in which we contact God. Acts 17:27 tells us we should incorporate our emotions while seeking God. He gave them to us so we could happily feel after Him, and enjoy His presence. However, many people have allowed their emotions to become infected and perverted. Instead of using their emotions for seeking God, they’ve become emotionally ruled, and the way they feel, controls their lives. Now, am I saying to dismiss your emotions? Certainly not! I am saying that God never intended for your emotions to control you.

God wants your emotions to be whole so you’re not only free to worship Him, but you’re touched by what He’s touched by, moved by what He’s moved by, and able to love like He loves. One of the areas God intended for you to incorporate your emotions is the area of compassion. When your emotions are operating at their highest level, you will be moved with compassion for others, just like Christ. We are in the Last Days, and it’s going to take compassion to reach a dying world. This is why God gave you emotions!

God wants your emotions to be sound, not bruised and unable to be used to glorify Him. Make a decision that you will not allow negative emotions to hinder you from getting to the place God wants you. Instead, allow positive emotions to propel you toward God.

Creflo Dollar: Will the Real Men Please Stand Up?

Will the Real Men Please Stand Up? - Creflo Dollar - Creflo Dollar Ministriesby: Creflo Dollar

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the number of homes headed by single mothers has risen from 3 million to 10 million since 1970. Although these statistics only represent U.S. figures, these numbers are similar all over the world.

This is the most fatherless generation this world has ever seen. As a result, it’s been on my heart to minister specifically to men. Men, where are you? Children need you to stand up and take an active role in your homes, communities, and churches.

God has put men in a very fundamental position. We are the leaders of the household; therefore, it’s up to us to establish the course of this nation beginning with our own families. Marriages are breaking up and children are fatherless because too many men act irresponsibly. All too often, men allow their manhood to be defined by the media, instead of the Word of God, and it’s destroying our families.

For years, society has distorted the definition of manhood. Having certain male body parts defines you as a male, but it does not make you a man. Being a man requires facing the truth about who you are, and changing those things you know need changing. Many of you are great husbands, fathers, and mentors, and for that, I applaud you. However, this article is directed to the men who aren’t living up to their full potential.

My objective in addressing these issues is not to condemn you; instead, I want to encourage you to be a real man, not just for your families, churches, and communities, but also for yourself. If you’re falling short, ask God to help you make the necessary adjustments and get back on track. Recommit yourself to God, and allow Him to guide you into success.

Real men fellowship with God and understand that He is the source of their life. Consider this: God blew His very breath into you. You’ve got His spirit and power inside you, so don’t hide under excuses and negativity. This generation needs you—your families, neighborhoods, and churches need you!

It’s time to take a look within. Will you judge yourself? Are you willing to sacrifice? If not, your children will suffer. While I’ve seen many women successfully raise children, it’s not God’s perfect design. God’s design includes the man as the head of the family. Now, is the time for the real man to stand up! Will you be one of them?

Creflo Dollar: Living the Faith Life

Living the Faith Life - Creflo Dollar - Creflo Dollar Ministriesby: Creflo Dollar

Living by faith is not an option for the Believer; it is a way of life. God’s Word is the governing force of His Kingdom, and this Kingdom operates by specific laws and principles. One of those spiritual principles includes the law of faith. Faith is the currency that enables you to receive the promises of God and the blessings of His Kingdom. As a child of the King, you must use faith to access what is available to you in the spiritual realm.

There are two systems in operation in the Earth: the Kingdom of God system and the world’s system. The Kingdom of God is governed by Jesus Christ; He is Lord of this system. It is founded on love and operates by faith. It is higher than the world’s system. On the other hand, the world’s system is governed by Satan, and is founded on selfishness. Fear rules this system and is the spiritual force controlling those who live in it.

As children of God, we have to understand the way God has intended for us to operate on this Earth. We are in the world, but not of the world. We are ambassadors of Heaven, occupying the Earth until Jesus returns. We are His representatives, as such, He expects us to demonstrate His power and ability to the world, so those in that system are drawn to Him. Faith is the only way to accomplish this.

Many Christians today do not live by faith. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things not seen. Therefore, it should be no surprise when what you believe from the Bible is not immediately available to your physical senses. In fact, you should know when you set out on your faith walk, that you do not need to see things with your physical eyes because your faith is the proof that what you believe exists!

Everything in the natural realm originates in the spiritual realm. When you have faith, you are able to see everything Heaven has to offer you without “seeing” it in front of you first. By tapping into faith, you gain access to the abundant wealth, riches, health, and blessings available to you. Anything you find in the Word of God is available to you in Heaven’s storehouses; from wisdom to finances.

Abiding in the Kingdom of God means living by faith on a consistent basis. The systems of this world are failing and falling apart. Those in the Kingdom of God have an advantage because of their faith in God’s Word. Find out what God says about you and believe it! That is what living the faith life is all about.

Creflo Dollar: Becoming Like Jesus

Becoming Like Jesus - Creflo Dollar - Creflo Dollar Ministriesby: Creflo Dollar

When you become born-again, something amazing happens; your spirit is immediately transformed and given new life, the eternal life of God. The Holy Spirit then takes up residence in your heart, or inner man. At that time, the character of Jesus is deposited on the inside of you; however, it does not immediately manifest. Your soul (the place where your mind, will and emotions reside) must first undergo a metamorphosis. Your old habits and thought patterns must be changed before Jesus’ character can be exhibited through you. However, it’s up to you to renew your mind and develop that character. Renewing, or transforming your mind, is vital to experience the fullness of your commitment to God. Romans 12:2 says, “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” The more you align your thoughts and actions with God’s Word, the more your character will conform to His. As you study and speak His Word over your life daily, you will be transformed from the inside out. Jesus told His disciples,” Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am gentle (meek) and humble (lowly) in heart, and you will find rest (relief and ease and refreshment and recreation and blessed quiet) for your souls (Matthew 11:28, The Amplified Bible). Jesus’ character expressed joy, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, self control, and above all, love. These aspects of the fruit of the Spirit are the very same qualities you must strive to possess and which will be cultivated in your life as you spend time with God daily. When the world sees you expressing His love, they will want to know Him and experience His goodness! Becoming like Jesus is not easy in a world where we are constantly bombarded with people, circumstances, and situations that challenge our flesh. This is where our commitment to the Word must rise up strong. The fact that we have been made in God’s image means we have the potential and ability to demonstrate the character of Jesus no matter what we encounter. It simply takes a decision to allow His divine qualities to be seen in our lives. Once that decision is made it is supported by an ongoing commitment to renew our minds to the thoughts, purposes, and ways of God. Jesus was a man who walked in love, compassion, and purpose. He did the will of His heavenly Father. Jesus showed us that even though we are human, we can demonstrate the power of God in our lives and reach other people in a profound way. By becoming like Him we can make a mark in this world that can never be erased.

Creflo Dollar: Why Go To Church?

Why Go To Church? - Creflo Dollar - Creflo Dollar Ministriesby: Creflo Dollar

Did you know Jesus attended church? This is something we do not hear about often, but it is true. If we want to follow and imitate Jesus, then we must follow His example; Jesus made it a custom to attend temple services. Once, when He had wandered away from His parents as a child, He was later found in the temple. When Mary and Joseph finally located Him, His explanation for His disappearance was, “… How is it that you had to look for me? Did you not see and know that it is necessary [as a duty] for Me to be in My Father’s house and [occupied] about My Father’s business?” (Luke 2:49, AMP) As an adult, if you were looking for Jesus, one place you would definitely find Him was teaching in the synagogue.

In everything God tells us to do, we have a choice whether to obey Him or not. Hebrews 10:25 says, “Not forsaking or neglecting to assemble together [as believers], as is the habit of some people, but admonishing (warning, urging, and encouraging) one another…” (AMP). He has commanded through His Word that we should gather together with other Believers in a corporate setting.

Notice God said some forsake this practice. This simply means they ignore it and turn away from it. Why does God take this so seriously? Because gathering together with other Believers in church allows us to connect with others to receive strength and encouragement. When we come to church, we learn how to apply the Word of God to our lives to overcome the things we go through. We receive the wisdom we need to live victoriously in our everyday lives.

If you are a Christian, you are part of the Body of Christ. Give honor to God by obeying His Word with a willing and obedient heart. Consider the wonderful things God has done for you! Come into His presence in a corporate setting to give Him thanks and to encourage a brother or sister in Christ. You can help change someone’s life forever by inspiring them to make Jesus their Lord and Savior. Allow your enthusiasm for the kingdom of God to overflow into the lives of others.

God wants you to desire His presence and have joy when you are in His house of worship. Follow the example of this ardent psalmist, who with a fervent heart toward God proclaimed, “How amiable are thy tabernacles, O Lord of host! My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the LORD: my heart and flesh crieth out for the living God …O LORD of hosts, my King, and my God. Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee. Selah” (Psalm 84:1—4).

Just reading that scripture stirs me up inside! You will be amazed at how blessed you will be when you have this much joy about experiencing the presence of Almighty God.

Creflo Dollar: Building the Foundation of Prayer

Building the Foundation of Prayer - Creflo Dollar - Creflo Dollar Ministriesby: Creflo Dollar

I am a firm believer the reason many Christians do not experience victory is because they lack an important foundational key to success—prayer. Contrary to common religious beliefs, prayer is not pleading with God or bargaining with Him to act on your behalf. Neither is it characterized by a lot of “spiritual” sounding clichés that do not line up with the Word. Prayer is simply communicating with God by speaking His Word to Him in faith. When you pray this way, results are inevitable.

Hebrews 4:12 clearly describes the power of the Word. It says, “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” Verse 14 encourages Believers to “hold fast to our profession.” In other words, do not stop speaking God’s Word, because it is power—packed! When you pray the Word, believing you have already received what you are praying for, God has no choice but to answer your prayers. He honors His Word, not your emotions.

Prayer should produce rest, and peace of mind. Many people pray fear—based prayers and hope they are getting through to God, but they really do not have confidence in what they are praying. The Bible says when you believe the Word, you will enter into a state of rest.

The integrity of the Word speaks for itself and will never fail. By allowing the Word to be the foundation of your prayer life, your confidence in your prayers will soar to new heights. When you know in your “knower” that Scripture is infallible, you will have no doubt what God says is true and you already possess it. Begin to pray the solution to your problems first, rather than bombard Heaven with desperate pleas.

Every failure in life is a prayer failure. That means either you did not know how to effectively pray, or you simply have not placed prayer high enough on your list of priorities. God has already done everything He is going to do; the work has already been completed. Your job is to pray faith—filled prayers based on His Word and expect to receive results. Make no mistake about it, prayer is absolutely essential to your walking in the manifestation of God’s promises. It is fundamental to getting results as a Christian.

As you spend time with God in prayer, you will begin to recognize His voice more clearly. He hears your prayers and desires to direct you at every turn. A developed prayer life will make it easier for Him to guide you.

When you make the Word of God the foundation of your prayer life, you are guaranteed victory. Do not let religion or tradition blind you to the truth of what prayer really is. Your future depends on it!

Creflo Dollar: We Must Forgive

We Must Forgive - Creflo Dollar - Creflo Dollar Ministriesby: Creflo Dollar

Did you know that forgiveness is something God requires of every Believer? To be a Christian but hold aught and unforgiveness in your heart toward anyone is in direct opposition to the Gospel message. Every day we have opportunities to yield to the spirit of unforgiveness and opportunities to walk in love. When we make a decision to choose God’s way of handling difficult people and situations, we choose the love route. In doing so, we keep ourselves in a position where we are able to receive forgiveness from the Father.

The issue of forgiving others is critical when discussing the Christian life. There are many Believers who have deeply rooted bitterness in their hearts springing from an offense that was committed against them. Many times, it is something that happened long ago and they are still harboring it deep within. Unforgiveness and bitterness are like spiritual poison. When we don’t forgive others, we actually destroy ourselves on an emotional and spiritual level. Also, we put ourselves in danger of receiving God’s judgment because He commands us to walk in love and forgive others.

In Matthew 18:21, 22, the Apostle Peter asks Jesus an interesting question. He says, “Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?” Peter was being facetious in his line of questioning about forgiveness, and Jesus gave him an answer I am sure He wasn’t expecting: “Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.” Can you imagine forgiving someone who has wronged you 490 times a day? Some of us have a hard time releasing an offense and forgiving someone once, let alone 490 times. But the point Jesus was driving home was that we must be willing to forgive instantly, automatically, and as many times as necessary.

There is so much hinging on our decision to forgive, including God’s willingness to forgive us. There are three daily necessities of every Christian: time spent in the Word of God, God’s forgiveness, and His protection. We need these things every day! That’s why we are to pray Matthew 6:11-13 daily, “Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.”

One of the most important reasons why we are to forgive is because our unwillingness to forgive others limits our ability to receive forgiveness from God. Matthew 18:23-35 is an important passage that emphasizes the consequences of not forgiving. It tells the story of an unforgiving servant who refused to forgive someone after he himself had been forgiven of a serious debt. When the unforgiving servant needed forgiveness from his master, he was denied. In verse 35 Jesus says, “So likewise, shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.”

I don’t know about you, but I need God’s forgiveness every day of my life. None of us is perfect, and we all need continual cleansing from sin, in its many forms. When we hold unforgiveness toward others, we are preventing God from releasing His forgiveness toward us, and put ourselves in danger of even going to hell when we die— because without God’s forgiveness, we are doomed. We simply must forgive.

The solution to unforgiveness is cultivating a mind-set and a heart attitude that says, “I set my will to forgive anyone, for anything, at any time” before the offense takes place. It is essentially an attitude that is intent on walking in the love of God at any cost. That means being willing to lay aside pride and bitterness because God commands it. When we embrace forgiveness instead of offense, we open the door for God’s continual blessings to flow into our lives. Choose to forgive today!

Creflo Dollar: Grace for Living

Grace for Living - Creflo Dollar - Creflo Dollar Ministriesby: Creflo Dollar

You have probably heard the term “God’s grace” used before, and perhaps you’ve heard it defined as “God’s unmerited favor.” While the favor and love of God are aspects of God’s grace, it is much more than this. God’s grace is His supernatural power, which enables us to overcome our shortcomings and serve Him acceptably. It is an enablement that gives us the ability not to sin when we are presented with opportunities to do so. Grace is only available through faith in Jesus Christ, which is why we must be in Him if we want to partake of God’s grace.

God didn’t just give us grace (His empowerment) to rescue us from our sins; He also gave us grace to live successfully on this earth. Many Christians do not understand how to tap into the power that God has placed in them. The same grace we received to become born-again is the same grace we receive to live victoriously. Through faith, we can obtain the grace to do anything we need to do, including discovering His will for our lives.

When Jesus came to the earth, He taught about grace and truth. He gave us the whole truth about the grace of God (John 1:16-17). God’s grace is not some vague religious concept, but is His divine power. We have everything we need to live a life that pleases Him (2 Peter 1:3, AMP) because He placed His grace within our born-again spirits. It is this grace that empowers us as Believers, not our own human efforts alone.

The grace of God is not something we can work to obtain. Understanding the free gift of salvation and everything that comes with it is critical to living a life that is faith-based versus performance-based. There is nothing we have done to earn salvation, which means there is nothing we can do to earn God’s grace. All we have to do is receive it by faith. Once we have a revelation of God’s grace, or divine power, we can use it in our everyday lives.

God did not just rescue us from sin, but He also empowered us to be able to live successful Christian lives. As a result of Jesus’ coming, the grace to help us live like Jesus lived on earth is available to us (1 John 2:6, AMP). Whenever we are falling short, we should remember God’s grace to help us overcome our shortcomings. Second Peter 1:3 says, “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue.” We have everything we need within us to dominate our circumstances and be shining examples of God’s grace for others to see.

As Christians, living a life that please God should be our goal, not continuing in sin and trying to use God’s grace as a way to keep disobeying Him. God’s grace actually empowers us not to yield to sin when temptation presents itself. It gives us the ability to rise above our flesh and resist the enemy’s suggestions. We must receive it, believe it, and begin declaring it out of our own mouths. Whatever it is you may be dealing with, say, “I have the grace to overcome this!” You are empowered to be victorious in life.

There is a grace available for love, diligence, and the wisdom to receive whatever we need, including finances. There is a grace for overcoming anger, lust, and every other evil emotion that leads to sin (Matthew 5:21-32). There is a grace to fulfill our purpose and to do what God has called us to do in life. There is a grace for living in truth! Jesus now holds us to a higher standard since grace has been given to us. Our faith, which comes from the Word of God is going to be the catalyst that connects us to this grace. By continuing to meditate on the Scriptures, and also speaking and acting on them, we release the grace that is within us and position ourselves for absolute victory in every area of our lives.
