Creflo Dollar: Is Politically Correct Biblically Correct?

Is Politically Correct Biblically Correct? - Creflo Dollar - Creflo Dollar Ministriesby: Creflo Dollar

Now more than ever is the time to allow the Word of God to become the final authority in your life. Societal norms and values have declined to accept the perversity and lies of Satan. As Christians, our success is based on whether or not we choose to walk in the Spirit (the Word of God) or to conform to the image of this world’s system, which leads to death. Just because something is accepted by a majority and is “politically correct” doesn’t make it right. The only proper standard of what is acceptable is the Bible; it’s time to start taking it seriously.

Satan is striving feverishly to infiltrate the minds and hearts of people by suggestively packaging sin—presenting it in such a way as to make it seem okay. Sexual immorality, for example, is being fed to the public through news broadcasts, television sitcoms, reality TV shows, and music videos. If you pay attention too long, they might begin to seem acceptable and even appealing to you. Those who speak out against such imagery and messages are labeled as “intolerant” and “politically incorrect.”

Just because something is accepted does not make it acceptable in God’s eyes. All forms of sexual activity outside the covenant of marriage are wrong (Hebrews 13:4; Galatians 5:19). Many of the things that the world accepts are vile in God’s sight (Romans 1:18-32). Hebrews 4:12 says that the Word judges, exposes, and analyzes all things. Therefore, as Believers, we should let the Word be our judge of what is right and wrong. If the Bible says something is incorrect, then it is incorrect—period!

Holiness is “being of one mind with God.” Hebrews 12:14 instructs Christians to pursue peace and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord. Adopting the attitudes of the world’s system will inevitably set you against God and position you to miss the blessings He has for you.

Don’t allow the desire to “fit in” blind you to the truth. Satan wants to dupe you into believing that his way of thinking and doing is the way to go; however, fitting in with his crowd will cost you (Proverbs 26:2; Deuteronomy 28:15-68; Romans 6:23). As a Christian, you should strive to renew your mind to the truth of God’s Word (Romans 12:1, 2) so that you can conform to His image and be able to discern truth from error, no matter how “politically correct” it seems to be.

Dr. Creflo Dollar: Your Way out

Your Way out - Creflo Dollar - Creflo Dollar MinistriesYour deliverance from negative situations lies in your refusal to neglect what God has spoken to you through His Word. Whether it pertains to your health, finances, or church attendance, it is important that you heed the directions God gives you. To neglect is to “treat without regard or attention.” When you neglect the Word of God, you reduce its importance. Instead of it being the final authority in your life, it now becomes just another book you pick up every now and then. Hebrews 2:1-3 says: Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip. For if the word spoken by angels was steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense of reward; How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him. The Greek word for salvation is soteria, which means protection, provision, wealth, wisdom, soundness, and health. In other words, it includes total life prosperity. The Bible admonishes us to pay attention to the covenant rights we have received through salvation. How do you keep from neglecting your salvation? Look at Romans 8:1. “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.”

When you diligently practice and meditate on the Word, you are able to put to death the desires of your flesh. By obeying God’s instructions, you maintain wholeness in every area of your life. Satan wants you to disregard the salvation Jesus purchased for you. Neglect is a tool he uses to accomplish his mission. However, 1 Timothy 4:14, 15 says, “Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery. Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.” Remember, neglect never allows you to resolve your dilemma. In order for you to rise above obstacles, you must maintain your stance in Christ by practicing the truths you learn. Revisit the areas in your life that have been neglected, such as prayer, reading God’s Word, and so on. Once you get back on track, you are sure to experience the abundant life promised in John 10:10!

Dr. Creflo Dollar: God’s Formula for Success

God's Formula for Success - Creflo Dollar - Creflo Dollar Ministries

Living in the kingdom of God has tremendous benefits. As Believers, we must make it a priority to do things God’s way so we can access what He has made available to us through His Word. There is a formula for success in the kingdom of God, and if we follow it, we will get consistent results. This requires a renewing of our minds and a willingness to do things differently. God’s method of operation is completely different from the world’s way. It requires faith, diligence, and consistency in executing certain spiritual principles. By following His plan, we can see manifestation in our lives, not some of the time, but all the time.

The first step to manifestation in the kingdom of God is to speak God’s Word. Many times, a person’s heart is full of faith but that faith never gets released into the atmosphere because he or she doesn’t actually say what God has said! Speaking the Word of God is critical to getting results in the kingdom.

Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and if you’re not saying anything, you’re not creating anything. Keeping the Word in our mouths at all times is vital because of the creative power of words. Hebrews 10:23 says, “Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering.” Our “profession” is our confession, or what we profess from the Word of God. We should make this a continual practice as the apostle Paul instructs. Continually speaking God’s Word through regular confessions also repels the enemy. Satan cannot stand against a Believer who has a revelation of the power of speaking the scriptures.

Deuteronomy 6:6-7 says, “And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.” We can see from the scripture that “talking” the Word should be done on an ongoing basis.

The second step in God’s formula for success is to meditate on God’s Word. Meditation is simply pondering, considering, and muttering the Word of God. When we meditate on God’s Word, it expands our capacity for faith and transforms our ability to believe and receive. By meditating on the Word we fix our minds and set our hearts on the desired result we are seeking.

Psalm 1:1-3 says that the man who is empowered to prosper is the one who meditates on the Word day and night. This is the same approach we should take while spending time seriously pondering the scriptures. We can meditate the Word by applying it practically to our lives, putting ourselves in agreement with it, speaking it, and realizing its integrity. Meditating on the Word makes our way prosperous (Joshua 1:8).

The third step in God’s formula for success is to act on the Word of God. Faith without works is dead, which means it is not enough to simply hear the Word and believe it, but we must also act on it in order to get to our destination. Faith is a practical expression of our confidence in God and His Word. Many times, Christians get preoccupied with the spiritual side of things and neglect to do anything practical in the natural realm. When God speaks a Word, whether through the written scriptures or a rhema Word spoken to the heart, it requires some type of corresponding action on our part.

God’s formula for success is fail-proof. Speaking the Word releases faith, meditating on it builds the image of it on the inside of you, and stepping out on what the Word says connects you to the promised manifestation. The result is success and absolute victory in every area of your life!

Creflo Dollar: Developing Trust in God

Developing Trust in God - Creflo Dollar - Creflo Dollar Ministriesby: Creflo Dollar

Several years ago, I experienced a very interesting situation. I was dealing with a business contractor and became very frustrated because I thought a particular product was going to be turned over to me, but it did not work out that way. Since the product was already paid for, frustration set in and my sleep was disturbed. I became agitated and spent the entire night trying to figure out how I would legally resolve the situation. Not once did I acknowledge the true solution—God and His Word.

The next morning I woke up feeling the same frustration. I began to pray in the Spirit, and God interrupted me. He said, “Why are you allowing this situation to frustrate you and steal your peace?” I told the Lord all about how I thought it wasn’t fair and so forth. He said, “I want to teach you something about trust.”

He began teaching me about trusting Him. Proverbs 3:5, in the Amplified Bible states, “Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding.” I was leaning on my own insight and understanding. Once I placed my trust and confidence in God’s ability to handle the situation, I was no longer frustrated and I received the solution I needed.

I have discovered that some of the greatest manifestations in the Bible came as a result of complete reliance and confidence in God. I have also discovered that many times people believe God, but they don’t trust Him. Actually, I believe they sometimes confuse the two. When we trust God, we rely and depend on Him to work out the situation.

Creflo Dollar: Why I Hate Religion

Why I Hate Religion - Creflo Dollar - Creflo Dollar Ministries

by: Creflo Dollar

I’m a preacher, and I hate religion! That’s right. I said it. Why? Religion portrays the image of what it defines as godliness but has no power to back it up. It thrives on the concept of attaining right standing with God through our works while downplaying what Jesus has done for us. Unfortunately, religion has caused many people to actually turn away from God and the promises contained in the Bible. A concentration on religion has been responsible for death, destruction, and strife among people of all ethnicities and backgrounds. It is why denominations cannot get along, and it is what provokes extremists to carry out suicide missions in the name of God. Religion is the counterfeit of having a real relationship with the Lord.

Now, let me make another bold statement: God hates religion too! Jesus used every opportunity to blast the religious leaders of His day for carrying out vain traditions that meant nothing. Just read Matthew Chapter 23, where Jesus rebuked the Pharisees for saying one thing but doing another and for following blindly after rituals and Law-based traditions done only to make them look good. Religion is made up of man’s ideas, interpretations, and prejudices based on selfish desires, attempts to control others, and a stubborn determination to be right. Where is God in that? Religion completely takes God out of the equation and replaces Him with the god of “self” in the form of self-effort, self-righteousness, and self-gratification. True Christianity is not a religion; it is a relationship with Christ. Now, that I love!

Now, more than ever before, people need to hear the truth about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is a message of hope, not condemnation; liberty, not religious bondage; grace, not self-reliance. Most of the things we have grown up hearing about God are completely incorrect! We have come to relate to God as an angry taskmaster who is waiting for us to mess up so He can strike us down with a lightning bolt. We have gotten so far away from what Christianity is really about and have presented a picture of God that actually turns people away from wanting to know Him. It is time for us to get back to the simplicity of the Gospel and share the truth about the love and grace of God with the world.

Pastor Creflo Dollar: Relentless Faith

Relentless Faith - Creflo Dollar - Creflo Dollar Ministries

Author: Creflo Dollar

What does it mean to have “bulldog faith”? It is the kind of faith that is characterized by what I call, “doggonedness.” It is the type of belief that grabs on to the promises of God and refuses to let go. It is relentless. Every Christian is called to live their lives by releasing the faith of God into their situations and circumstances. Everyone will face temptations, trials, and tests, but only those who refuse to let go of what God has said will see the end of their faith. A relentless Christian is the one who gets results in the Kingdom of God.

When you look at that word, relentless, it really denotes a sense of steadfastness, perseverance, and a refusal to give up, cave in, or quit. It simply will not come off the promises of God. It is focused in its pursuit of the final outcome—no matter what it goes through or faces. A person who is relentless is a real soldier where the things of God are concerned and in the way they handle the devil. This person is not easily swayed by what things look like or how they feel. They have locked into the faith of God, and you had better believe manifestation is on its way!

The key to walking in relentless faith is to refuse to entertain unbelief. Faith will not work when you have doubt in your heart. You must stand firm on the promises from God’s Word and reject any thought, suggestion, or inclination that goes against what you believe. The enemy will bring negative thoughts to your mind, but you can override them by knowing and quoting the Scripture.

Jesus gave an important formula for getting your faith to work—every time! He said it is critical to believe you receive what you pray for, when you say it, and do not allow doubt to invade your heart and mind. When you do this, you can move mountains! To be relentless in your faith means fighting doubt and unbelief the moment they come to your mind, filling your heart with the Word of God, and speaking it at every turn with boldness, authority, and consistency. Doing this, creates a pounding spiritual force that blows obstacles out of your way.

To operate in this kind of faith, you must know who you are in Christ. Christians have been made righteous by the blood of Jesus and are no longer under the dominion of sin and the curse. Consequently, you have a right to every covenant promise in God’s Word, including the benefits of faith-based living. In fact, living by faith is a requirement, not an option for those who are a part of God’s Kingdom.

Walking by faith is an adventure that will take you on a treasure hunt through the Word of God. Your faith is your ammunition against Satan and will carry you through tough times. Refuse to give up, even in the face of adversity. When you have relentless, bulldog faith, nothing will be withheld from you!
